بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَتَىٰٓ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿١﴾
Word-by-word
أَتَىٰٓ
atā
Will come
أَمْرُ
amru
(the) command of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(the) command of Allah
فَلَا
falā
so (do) not
تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ ۚ
tastaʿjilūhu
(be) impatient for it
سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ
sub'ḥānahu
Glorified is He
وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ
wataʿālā
and Exalted (is) He
عَمَّا
ʿammā
above what
يُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūna
they associate
يُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ بِٱلرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦٓ أَنْ أَنذِرُوٓاْ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۟ فَٱتَّقُونِ ﴿٢﴾

يَشَآءُ

He wills

عِبَادِهِۦٓ
ʿibādihi
His slaves
أَنْ

that
أَنذِرُوٓا۟
andhirū
Warn
أَنَّهُۥ
annahu
that [He]
لَآ
lā
(there is) no
إِلَـٰهَ
ilāha
god
إِلَّآ
illā
except
أَنَا۠
anā
Me
فَٱتَّقُونِ
fa-ittaqūni
so fear Me
خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّۚ تَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿٣﴾

khalaqa
He created
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
wal-arḍa
and the earth
بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ
bil-ḥaqi
in truth
تَعَـٰلَىٰ
taʿālā
Exalted is He
عَمَّا
ʿammā
above what
يُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūna
they associate
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ ﴿٤﴾

He created
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ

the human kind
مِن

from
نُّطْفَةٍۢ
nuṭ'fatin
a minute quantity of semen
فَإِذَا
fa-idhā
then behold

خَصِيمٌۭ
khaṣīmun
(is) an opponent
مُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnun
clear
وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمَ خَلَقَهَاۗ لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌ وَمَنَـٰفِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ ﴿٥﴾

وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمَ
wal-anʿāma
And the cattle
خَلَقَهَا ۗ
khalaqahā
He created them
لَكُمْ
lakum
for you
فِيهَا
fīhā
in them
دِفْءٌۭ
dif'on
(is) warmth
وَمَنَـٰفِعُ
wamanāfiʿu
and benefits
وَمِنْهَا
wamin'hā
and from them
تَأْكُلُونَ
takulūna
you eat
وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ ﴿٦﴾

And for you

(is) beauty
حِينَ

تُرِيحُونَ

you bring them in
وَحِينَ

tasraḥūna
you take them out
وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ لَّمْ تَكُونُواْ بَـٰلِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ ٱلْأَنفُسِۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿٧﴾

And they carry

reach it
إِلَّا
illā
except
بِشِقِّ
bishiqqi
with great trouble
ٱلْأَنفُسِ ۚ
l-anfusi
(to) yourselves
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَبَّكُمْ
rabbakum
your Lord
لَرَءُوفٌۭ
laraūfun
surely is Most Kind
رَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmun
Most Merciful
وَٱلْخَيْلَ وَٱلْبِغَالَ وَٱلْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةًۚ وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿٨﴾
Word-by-word
وَٱلْخَيْلَ
wal-khayla
And horses
وَٱلْبِغَالَ
wal-bighāla
and mules
وَٱلْحَمِيرَ
wal-ḥamīra
and donkeys
لِتَرْكَبُوهَا
litarkabūhā
for you to ride them
وَزِينَةًۭ ۚ
wazīnatan
and (as) adornment
وَيَخْلُقُ
wayakhluqu
And He creates
مَا
mā
what
لَا
lā
not
تَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūna
you know
وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ قَصْدُ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَآئِرٌۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَهَدَٮٰكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿٩﴾

And upon
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
قَصْدُ
qaṣdu
(is) the direction
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
l-sabīli
(of) the way
وَمِنْهَا
wamin'hā
and among them
جَآئِرٌۭ ۚ
jāirun
(are) crooked
وَلَوْ
walaw
And if
شَآءَ
shāa
He willed
لَهَدَىٰكُمْ
lahadākum
surely He would have guided you
أَجْمَعِينَ
ajmaʿīna
all
هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۖ لَّكُم مِّنْهُ شَرَابٌ وَمِنْهُ شَجَرٌ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ ﴿١٠﴾

you pasture your cattle
يُنۢبِتُ لَكُم بِهِ ٱلزَّرْعَ وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ وَٱلنَّخِيلَ وَٱلْأَعْنَـٰبَ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٲتِۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَأَيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ﴿١١﴾

He causes to grow
لَكُم
lakum
for you
بِهِ

with it
ٱلزَّرْعَ
l-zarʿa
the crops
وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ
wal-zaytūna
and the olives
وَٱلنَّخِيلَ
wal-nakhīla
and the date-palms
وَٱلْأَعْنَـٰبَ
wal-aʿnāba
and the grapes
وَمِن
wamin
and of
كُلِّ
kulli
every kind
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۗ
l-thamarāti
(of) fruits
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِى
fī
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَةًۭ
laāyatan
surely (is) a sign
لِّقَوْمٍۢ
liqawmin
for a people
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkarūna
who reflect
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَۖ وَٱلنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَٲتُۢ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَأَيَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ ﴿١٢﴾

وَسَخَّرَ
wasakhara
And He has subjected
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلَّيْلَ
al-layla
the night
وَٱلنَّهَارَ
wal-nahāra
and the day
وَٱلشَّمْسَ
wal-shamsa
and the sun
وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ
wal-qamara
and the moon
وَٱلنُّجُومُ
wal-nujūmu
and the stars
مُسَخَّرَٰتٌۢ
musakharātun
(are) subjected
بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ
bi-amrihi
by His command
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِى
fī
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ
laāyātin
surely (are) signs
لِّقَوْمٍۢ
liqawmin
for a people
يَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūna
who use reason
وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَٲنُهُۥٓۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَأَيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ ﴿١٣﴾

He multiplied
لَكُمْ

ٱلْأَرْضِ

مُخْتَلِفًا

أَلْوَٰنُهُۥٓ ۗ

colors
إِنَّ

Indeed
فِى

ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَةًۭ
laāyatan
surely (is) a sign
لِّقَوْمٍۢ
liqawmin
for a people
يَذَّكَّرُونَ
yadhakkarūna
who remember
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ ٱلْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُواْ مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُواْ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى ٱلْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿١٤﴾

ٱلْبَحْرَ

لِتَأْكُلُوا۟

طَرِيًّۭا

وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا۟

ḥil'yatan
ornaments
تَلْبَسُونَهَا
talbasūnahā
(that) you wear them
وَتَرَى
watarā
And you see
ٱلْفُلْكَ
l-ful'ka
the ships
مَوَاخِرَ
mawākhira
ploughing
فِيهِ
fīhi
through it
وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟
walitabtaghū
and that you may seek
مِن
min
of
فَضْلِهِۦ
faḍlihi
His Bounty
وَلَعَلَّكُمْ
walaʿallakum
and that you may
تَشْكُرُونَ
tashkurūna
(be) grateful
وَأَلْقَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٲسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَـٰرًا وَسُبُلاً لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ ﴿١٥﴾

wa-alqā
And He has cast
فِى

in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
l-arḍi
the earth
رَوَٰسِىَ
rawāsiya
firm mountains
أَن

lest
تَمِيدَ

it should shake
بِكُمْ
bikum
with you
وَأَنْهَـٰرًۭا
wa-anhāran
and rivers
وَسُبُلًۭا
wasubulan
and roads
لَّعَلَّكُمْ
laʿallakum
so that you may
تَهْتَدُونَ
tahtadūna
be guided
وَعَلَـٰمَـٰتٍۚ وَبِٱلنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ ﴿١٦﴾

waʿalāmātin
And landmarks
وَبِٱلنَّجْمِ
wabil-najmi
And by the stars
هُمْ
hum
they
يَهْتَدُونَ
yahtadūna
guide themselves
أَفَمَن يَخْلُقُ كَمَن لَّا يَخْلُقُۗ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ ﴿١٧﴾

وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ ﴿١٩﴾

إِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ وَٲحِدٌۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْأَخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةٌ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾

إِلَـٰهٌۭ

وَٰحِدٌۭ ۚ
wāḥidun
One
فَٱلَّذِينَ

يُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūna
believe
بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
bil-ākhirati
in the Hereafter
قُلُوبُهُم
qulūbuhum
their hearts
مُّنكِرَةٌۭ
munkiratun
refuse
وَهُم
wahum
and they
مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ
mus'takbirūna
(are) arrogant
لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ ﴿٢٣﴾

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُم مَّاذَآ أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُمْۙ قَالُوٓاْ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿٢٤﴾

ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
l-awalīna
(of) the ancient
لِيَحْمِلُوٓاْ أَوْزَارَهُمْ كَامِلَةً يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِۙ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۗ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ ﴿٢٥﴾

وَمِنْ

the burdens
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(of) those whom
يُضِلُّونَهُم
yuḍillūnahum
they misled [them]
بِغَيْرِ
bighayri
without
عِلْمٍ ۗ
ʿil'min
knowledge
أَلَا
alā
Unquestionably
سَآءَ
sāa
evil
مَا
mā
(is) what
يَزِرُونَ
yazirūna
they will bear
