Been using it for about 3 weeks now and honestly my tajweed got so much better. It catches mistakes I didnt even know I was making. Really wish I had this when I first started learning

My kids love it alhamdulillah. They practice every day now without me having to push them. The interface is clean and simple enough for them to use on their own. Jazakallah khair to the team

Your questions
What is Tilawa?
Tilawa is an iPhone and Android app that corrects your Quran recitation word by word, with two AI tutors, Omar and Noor.
Is Tilawa free?
Yes, you can start without paying. Your first recitation is fully corrected, word by word.
Is there a web or desktop version?
No. Tilawa is an app for iPhone, iPad and Android, because it listens to you through the microphone while you recite. On a computer, this site lets you read and listen to the Quran with colour-coded tajweed. To recite and get corrected, scan the QR code with your phone.
Where is the direct link?
The buttons on this page take you to the right store: the App Store on iPhone and iPad, Google Play on Android.
Is it accurate? Does it correct only words, or tajweed too?
Both. Tilawa follows your recitation word by word, then points out skipped, swapped or mispronounced words, and the tajweed rules applied or missed, with the right recitation to listen to again. It can make mistakes, especially in a noisy room. A qualified teacher remains the reference: Tilawa helps you practise every day, between lessons.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes, to follow and correct your recitation.
Which Quran reading does it follow?
Hafs 'an 'Asim. Warsh and Qalun are not corrected yet.
Are Omar and Noor real people?
No. They are AI tutors created by the Tilawa team. They listen to you, explain a verse or a rule, and cite their sources.
