سَبِّحِ

sabbiḥi

Glorify

ٱسْمَ

is'ma

(the) name

رَبِّكَ

rabbika

(of) your Lord

ٱلْأَعْلَى

l-aʿlā

the Most High

ٱلَّذِى

alladhī

The One Who

خَلَقَ

khalaqa

created

فَسَوَّىٰ

fasawwā

then proportioned

وَٱلَّذِى

wa-alladhī

And the One Who

قَدَّرَ

qaddara

measured

فَهَدَىٰ

fahadā

then guided

وَٱلَّذِىٓ

wa-alladhī

And the One Who

أَخْرَجَ

akhraja

brings forth

ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ

l-marʿā

the pasture

فَجَعَلَهُۥ

fajaʿalahu

And then makes it

غُثَآءً

ghuthāan

stubble

أَحْوَىٰ

aḥwā

dark

سَنُقْرِئُكَ

sanuq'ri-uka

We will make you recite

فَلَا

falā

so not

تَنسَىٰٓ

tansā

you will forget

إِلَّا

illā

Except

مَا

mā

what

شَآءَ

shāa

wills

ٱللَّهُ ۚ

l-lahu

Allah

إِنَّهُۥ

innahu

Indeed, He

يَعْلَمُ

yaʿlamu

knows

ٱلْجَهْرَ

l-jahra

the manifest

وَمَا

wamā

and what

يَخْفَىٰ

yakhfā

is hidden

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ

wanuyassiruka

And We will ease you

لِلْيُسْرَىٰ

lil'yus'rā

to the ease

فَذَكِّرْ

fadhakkir

So remind

إِن

in

if

نَّفَعَتِ

nafaʿati

benefits

ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ

l-dhik'rā

the reminder

سَيَذَّكَّرُ

sayadhakkaru

He will pay heed

مَن

man

(one) who

يَخْشَىٰ

yakhshā

fears (Allah)

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا

wayatajannabuhā

And will avoid it

ٱلْأَشْقَى

l-ashqā

the wretched one

ٱلَّذِى

alladhī

The one who

يَصْلَى

yaṣlā

will burn

ٱلنَّارَ

l-nāra

(in) the Fire

ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ

l-kub'rā

[the] great

ثُمَّ

thumma

Then

لَا

lā

not

يَمُوتُ

yamūtu

he will die

فِيهَا

fīhā

therein

وَلَا

walā

and not

يَحْيَىٰ

yaḥyā

will live

قَدْ

qad

Certainly

أَفْلَحَ

aflaḥa

has succeeded

مَن

man

(one) who

تَزَكَّىٰ

tazakkā

purifies (himself)

وَذَكَرَ

wadhakara

And remembers

ٱسْمَ

is'ma

(the) name

رَبِّهِۦ

rabbihi

(of) his Lord

فَصَلَّىٰ

faṣallā

and prays

بَلْ

bal

Nay

تُؤْثِرُونَ

tu'thirūna

You prefer

ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ

l-ḥayata

the life

ٱلدُّنْيَا

l-dun'yā

(of) the world

وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ

wal-ākhiratu

While the Hereafter

خَيْرٌۭ

khayrun

(is) better

وَأَبْقَىٰٓ

wa-abqā

and everlasting

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

هَـٰذَا

hādhā

this

لَفِى

lafī

surely (is) in

ٱلصُّحُفِ

l-ṣuḥufi

the Scriptures

ٱلْأُولَىٰ

l-ūlā

[the] former

صُحُفِ

ṣuḥufi

(The) Scriptures

إِبْرَٰهِيمَ

ib'rāhīma

(of) Ibrahim

وَمُوسَىٰ

wamūsā

and Musa
